Pia Kontos

Dr. Kontos is a Senior Scientist at KITE and Professor in the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto. Her interdisciplinary and community-oriented research focuses on the development of theories, arts-based and digital knowledge innovations, and policies to reduce stigma-related inequities associated with dementia and to foster relational caring in community and long-term care settings. Her work advocates for the active inclusion of people living with dementia and carers in research, knowledge translation, and practice initiatives.
